Corps Maison is a cultural mediation project launched in 2021. This project, selected for 2023 and 2024, consists of a series of workshops that use dance, music, visual arts and expression through movement to address various topics such as self-perception, reaffirmation, resilience and engagement. These workshops, led by Ariana Pirela Sanchez in collaboration with ART CRUSH | Ensembl’arts, work with people from vulnerable and minority communities, including current and former unhoused people, people with mental health issues and women in vulnerable circumstances.
This multi-year project is in partnership with the Centre du jour St-James and the Pavilion Lise Watier.
Multi-year funding for this project is from the MTL Cultural Mediation Program of the Entente sur le développement culturel de Montréal, jointly managed by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications and the Ville de Montréal.
